When are rehearsals typically held?

Rehearsals are typically held 3:00-7:00 after school. Days of the week depend on what your role is and whether you are called that day.

The Fall 2026 musical rehearsals will likely be Tuesday-Friday to avoid conflicting with Show Choir Monday rehearsals as many theater students are also involved in the choral department.

What should I expect for auditions?

For a musical audition, prepare a 30-60 second song of your choice to sing with a track, acapella, or bring sheet music for the accompanist.

For a play audition, a few options for monologues will be provided to students in advance.

Auditions are typically held 3-4 months before the production.

The audition is closed, meaning you are only performing in front of the production team and not in front of everyone else who is auditioning.

Auditions are typically held for three days in a row. The first day is for all potential cast members to perform their prepared piece, and the follow-up days are for callbacks.

How can I get involved as a student if I am nervous or uninterested in being on stage?

You can get involved as a member of the stage crew. There are special crew/build days for crew members. When you attend a build day, you will be added to the Canvas page for stage crew.
